The Powawini GFCI Outlet meets UL-Listed YGB-094WR, 20 Amp, 125 Volt, 60 Hz, and complies with local and national electrical codes. It is a tamper-resistant receptacle designed to prevent young children from inserting unwanted objects. The GFCI outlet also regularly conducts an automatic internal test to confirm its responsiveness to a ground fault, providing continuous ground fault protection.

Weather Resistant Design

Built with advanced UV stabilized engineering, the Powawini GFCI Outlet offers superior corrosion, temperature, and UV resistance. This makes it ideal for both outdoor and indoor use. As required by local codes, GFCI outlets are necessary in kitchens, bathrooms, and within 25 feet of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment to prevent electrical shock in moisture-prone areas.

Self Test Indicator System

The outlet features two indicator lights for simple, intuitive feedback on power and protection status. A green light indicates proper installation and functionality. Every 40 seconds, the GFCI outlet automatically conducts a self-test, with the red light blinking once to ensure continuous operation. A malfunction indicator (red light) will appear when it's time to replace the outlet.
